How to improve rip speed for A1 DVD Audio Ripper?

You can try close preview.

The audio that I rip is very distorted (cracking), Why?
A:
Please try to reduce the value of "Volume" (Menu: Settings-> User Options).
For example: 2.5 or 2 or 1.

A value of "1" can't generate cracking but the output sound may be very low.
You can try few clip of the movie and adjust this value in order to get a good volume.

"Audio Format not supported DTS"?
A:
Normally there are not just one audio track on DVD. DTS is one of them,
Some DVDs use DTS (Digital Theatre System) as their primary sound source.
But, You need not it.

So when converting, you can choose the other audio track, ie, AC3, AAC ( almost anything other than DTS )
You DVD should then convert correctly.

Your A1 DVD (Audio) Ripper recommend me to install Adaptec ASPI. What is ASPI?
A:
ASPI -- Advanced SCSI Programming Interface. An ASPI driver is required for digital audio extraction (DAE).

ASPI isnot necessary for latest version, So, Please download and install the latest one.

Unable to read from ....,why?
A:
This problem is caused by the copy protection of your DVD disc.

You can also use a DVD player software to unlock the DVD disc,(such as WinDVD or PowerDVD...), just play the DVD with DVD player and run A1 DVD Ripper. The DVD player doesn't need to run during the encoding process.

"Too much frame or samples", what do i do ?
A:
You can try to set output framerate to 23.97 NTSC, and check "Output frame rate force 24Hz" on "User Options" window.

Some NTSC DVDs, which are marked 29.97, are in fact 23.97 progressive.
" force 24Hz" will force input to be a 24Hz progressive NTSC.

What's the limitation of trial version?

Only allows you to convert 50% of the movie in the trial version
Register it to feel the full features.
